Hello! Hiiiii! This is my first post on here and I didn’t think social awkwardness also extends to writing but this feels a little bit like meeting someone new. Nice to meet you 🙂 First things first, I have a confession… I’ve had this blog set up for quite some time – it will be a year in February to be exact – but I’ve been waiting for the “perfect” time, pictures etc. to be worthy of my first post up LOL. Needless to say, it isn’t the perfect time and the pictures are alright but here I am, doing the damn thang.
I spent a few days in Swakopmund this past December holiday and for once I can say the weather was warm and sunny the entire time I was there so, naturally, I had to rock a good pair of shorts at some point. My sister travelled to Cape Town and got these for me from Factorie and I like them because they have that vintage Levi’s look about them with the high waist and light wash. I wore them with an off shoulder white top and some cute sandals I found in a sales basket in PEP for 50 bucks (yes, I’m totally that girl). I also carried a backpack that I bought at the Leather Market in Addis Ababa on a work trip, I generally prefer backpacks or small cross body bags to bigger handbags so it’s a favourite of mine.
Cheers to the freakin’ new year and to many more blog posts on here!!
